Some of these restaurants are sitauted outside Dubrovnik town, the local buses operate less frequent lines and the taxis are expenisve. We offer you comfortable ride at great price to get you there and back.

Quite often our clients asks us to recommend them a good restaurant and at times it can be a daunting task. What somebody finds it to be delicious others think of it as mediocre. Some people really know they food and wine, other prefer a good athmosphere. So we have thought hard and this is what we came up with. fff

It has to be KAPETANOVA KUĆA (Captain's House). Situated in a quiet village of Mali Ston, some 40 minutes away from Dubrovnik it is run by Kralj family and it is thought to be one of the best fish restaurants in Croatia as it uses freshly caught fish from Mali Ston Bay. This bay is a home to numerous oysters and mussles farms. Mali Ston is situated right at the beginning of Peljšac Peninsula, which is reknown for red sorts of „Dingač“ and „Plavac mali“. Equally, ask for their house red and white, you will be pleasantly surprised.

KONAVOSKI DVORI is the name on everyone lips because this restaurant  is situated in a setting that will really relax you, the old mill is the part of the restaurant  house and the stream Ljuta runs by. They have excellent smoked ham, smoked cheese kept in the oil ( good appetizers ) Lamb and veal are prepared in the old fashioned way under  the iron bell, trout is a speciality of the house home made bread is by far number one in the region. The restaurant  is a 40 minutes ride from Dubrovnik.

ORSAN is a fish restaurant situated some 7 km from Dubrovnik in a village called Zaton Mali. What is unique about this restaurant apart from the food is the ambience as you are dining literary on the sea.fff

PROTO, situated in the heart of the Old Town is a fish restaurant  we strongly recommend as it offers fresh fish dishes at value for money prices.

LEUT, situated in Cavtat, picturesque village, some 20 minutes away from Dubrovnik is our recommendation. Bobić family has 30 years of culinary tradition behind them with good fish specialities and solid portions.

OLD HOUSE, situated in the residential part of Dubrovnik called Lapad is a typical Bosnian restaurant, the type you find in Mostar and Sarajevo. Čevapćići (Chevapchichi) and burek (burek) are a definite must. Also if in doubt you can always order a meat platter, it comes with excellent home made bread and roasted potatoes under the iron bell.fff

If you are visiting Montenegro, then hidden away in Donji Morinj, right where the bay of Boka Kotorska starts is ĆATOVIĆA MLINI ( Ćatović familly mills ) It has very solid meaty dishes, „Njeguš steak wrapped up in smoked ham and cheese is a national dish. Good selection of Montenegrin wines but  also those from the region. There is a stream running by and get used to ducks and also there are two peacocks about. Excellent familly outing.
